You are a book lover and want to
carry those bulky heap of your in your new residence. Well it is not that
simple task as you are considering it to be. The heap of books is not that easy
to shift from one location to another, and specially if you want to carry it
all with you. However packing your books is a casual move but still there are
few rules that have to be followed while packing them all.
Like all other packing, while
packing your books as well first of all you need to select. Selection is a must
process for packing books. Set aside those not in use or of old syllabus. You
can either donate them or give them to your juniors. The second point is
management. Once you are clear about your carriables now. Always use durable
and water resistant box for carrying your books. Remember books do have weight
therefore select box accordingly. While placing your books in your carton box,
place heavy books in the base to provide it ample support. Keep books of less
use in the bottom so that the most used books can be approached easily.
The most important thing, seal
the box properly. Use professional sealing technique also called the ‘H’ method
of sealing for placing tapes in your carton. If your carton is not water resistant
you can wrap all books in a plastic paper before placing it in the box to
secure them even more. These tips will really help you a lot in getting your
books ready for your move.
